Chocolate Mousse

With my husband’s birthday coming up I had to make a delicious dessert to help him blow his candles. Jamison is not big in sweets but he loves dark chocolate.

Because I am not a big in cooking I am always looking for easy and quick recipes. Lucky for me one of my favorite Mom’s recipe is her famous Chocolate Mousse. Very easy to make!

  • 200 gr of chocolate (I use 80% +)
  • 1 tsp of water
  • 4 eggs

Melt the chocolate with the water. Separate the egg yolks and whites. Add the egg yolks to the cool down melted chocolate. Whip the egg whites. I use my KitchenAid mixer. I love it because it is so easy. When the egg whites are firm and fluffy add the chocolate. Pour in cute ramekins before covering them and let the mousse chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours. Enjoy!
